Being Salt and Light

All Christians are the salt and light of the earth (Matt. 5:13-16) and are to be ready to give an answer for the hope that is within them (I Peter 3:15).  The growth of the early, post-apostolic church, humanly speaking, may be attributed to those Christians who led in conversations about Jesus, whether in the home, at the market, or in the workplace.   

Striving to Build a Culture of Evangelism

It is our desire that we build a culture of evangelism at Providence, not only learning how to lead others to Christ, but doing it together, collectively, as a body.  We confess that the church has not always done the best at this, but we are willing to learn.
